A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate, self-motivated and experienced Trainer to join a highly reputable, established and rapidly expanding Complex Care Business, SCP Complex Care Services in Maidstone.

Joining our branch team in Maidstone this part time role, working alternate weeks with our diverse workforce, you will be responsible for delivering induction training , providing support on process to our new care workers to ensure they are fully trained and confident to deliver care.   

The ideal applicant will have previous training experience, with a care or healthcare setting and have a positive approach to delivering exceptional care. They must also have previous experience of delivering LD/challenging behaviour training which is a key requirement of this role.

As a Trainer you role will involve:

  • Co-ordinating Care Worker Training

  • Delivering Care Worker Training

  • Deliver Training on Learning Disabilities and Challenging Behaviour

  • Assessing Trainee learning

  • Maintaining complete and accurate training records

  • Undertaking continuous training and development to ensure knowledge is up to date

  • Working with the policy team to develop standard training programmes in line with current best practice

  • Agreeing and achieving targets for training
